As revealed by Arc System Works, the application period begins on the 18th of March and will be wrapping up on the 5th of April at 06:39 PDT. The Close Beta period itself will be performed from the 16th until the 19th of April, and players will have access to a total of 7 fighters: Sol, Ky, May, Axl, Chip, Potemkin, and Faust.
Arc System Works has also revealed that they will be releasing a brand-new trailer for Guilty Gear - Strive - this Saturday the 21st of March. While the developer doesn't give away any details about what will be shown, it is likely that, much like in previous trailers, at least one new character will be revealed.
Hopefully, this Saturday's brand-new trailer for Guilty Gear - Strive - will also give us an official release date, and give us more informatio nabout the new gameplay mechanics they will be adding to the game.
