MARVEL CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS: September Brings Big X-Men Updates For The Mobile Game

Since 2014, game developer Kabam has been hard at work maintaining the highly successful fighting mobile game, MARVEL Contest of Champions. With a pantheon of fighters at a player's fingertips, there is no shortage of characters from across the multiverse for characters to participate in.

With September here, some new reveals have been made in regards to characters and updates. First and foremost, House of X #1, Johnathan Hickman's first foray into the world of X-Men, has been reprinted with an awesome variant cover, which should be available to players. No word has been given on whether or not Powers of X #1 would follow suit.

A new motion comic called Rise of X was also released, which teases the introduction of Apocalyse and Professor X as this month's new fighters. Along with these announcements, various other bug fixes and balances were explained in the September patch notes that can be seen here.
