After finding incredible success and positive reception with the 2019 and 2020 Summoner Showdown events, Kabam has officially kicked off the first qualifier round in Marvel Contest of Champions' third annual event.
The 2021 Summoner Showdown in the mobile game focuses on three characters in particular. These are Nameless Hyperion, Nameless Scarlet Witch (Classic), and Nameless King Groot. The latter is heading up the event as the first boss in the qualifying rounds.
Guardians of the Galaxy fans should be pleased for, as of today, the first qualifying round featuring Nameless King Groot has officially begun. Take a look at the promotional art Kabam released for the Marvel Contest of Champions boss below.

The qualifier dates for all three bosses the Battlerealm offers during the 2021 Summoner Showdown are listed below.
- Qualifier 1: Monday, August 16 @10AM PT - Saturday, August 21 @10AM PT - Nameless King Groot
- Qualifier 2: Saturday, August 21 @10AM PT - Thursday, August 26 @10AM PT - Nameless Scarlet Witch (Classic)
- Qualifier 3: Thursday, August 26 @10AM PT - Tuesday, August 31 @10AM PT - Nameless Hyperion
