MARVEL'S AVENGERS Adds New Thor Skin Based On The God Of Thunder's Look In 2012's THE AVENGERS

On top of finally introducing Spider-Man, Marvel's Avengers added a new skin based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Hawkeye last month — more on that here. They're keeping up that trend with the latest skin that's now available to purchase from the in-game store.

This new skin is for, the Asgardian God of Thunder himself, Thor. It's based on his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically his getup from the first Avengers film that released back in 2012. "Does he look to be in a gaming mood?" the tweet (@PlayAvengers) makes a reference to one of the character's lines in The Avengers

"Inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor's Marvel Studios' The Avengers Outfit features a god forming an alliance to thwart his brother's plans." This is one of the few references to Thor's brother Loki relevant to Marvel's Avengers. Perhaps this is a tease of what's to come with future updates to the game.
