MARVEL'S AVENGERS Will Require A Whopping 90 GB Of Free Space To Be Installed On PlayStation 4

Project Avengers was officially announced in January of 2017, and it was revealed to be a new action-adventure game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, which is based on the popular heroes from MARVEL Comics; now even more popular thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For the longest time, we didn't even know the game's real name, and now we are only one week away from the release of the highly anticipated MARVEL's Avengers, as it will be hitting store shelves next Friday; on the 4th of September, to be more precise.

New information reveals, however, that players will need quite a bit of free space in order to actually play the game — at least on the PlayStation 4, although it will also likely apply to Xbox One and PC — so it is best that you make some room before you even attempt to download it.

As first reported by DualShockers, YouTuber TheRelaxingEnd did an unboxing video of the MARVEL's Avengers Earth's Mightiest Edition for the PlayStation 4, in which it is clearly visible — at the 1:27 min mark — that the game requires a minimum of a whopping 90 GB in order to be installed.

This is, of course, the digital version of MARVEL's Avengers, but it is still quite beefy when compared to other titles on the PlayStation 4. To put things into perspective, the recently released Ghost of Tsushima requires 35 GB of space, while MARVEL's Spider-Man takes up to 45 GB of free storage space.

Other than the information about the size of the game, the video also shows off all of the collectibles that the MARVEL's Avengers Earth Mightiest Edition is including, so you can also give it a watch down below if you're interested.
