Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Ray Tracing PC Requirements

NVIDIA has just revealed the official Ray Tracing PC requirements for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. As we’ve already reported, the game will support ray-traced reflections, exclusively on PC. Moreover, it will support NVIDIA’s DLSS tech.

According to the specs, PC gamers will need at least an RTX2060 in order to run the ray-traced version. That’s on Low Details with High Ray Tracing at 1080p. For gaming at 1440p/High Details/Very High RT, you’ll need an RTX3070. As for 4K/Ultra Details/Ray Tracing Ultra, you’ll need an RTX3080.

NVIDIA did not clarify whether these PC requirements are with DLSS enabled. Moreover, the green team did not specify the framerate that these RT specs target. My guess is that we are looking at native resolution for gaming at 30fps.

Earlier today EIDOS Montreal released a video that featured some RTX gameplay footage from the PC version. Thus, we recommend watching it as it will give you a glimpse at the game’s Ray Tracing effects.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be using Denuvo, and will release on October 26th.

Enjoy!
