Microsoft is throwing its marketing weight behind a trio of Xbox Live Arcade games as part of a "Games for the Holidays" promotion, and offering free cross-promotional in-game content for those that buy all three. Gamers that purchase A World of Keflings, Raskulls and ilomilo will be able to unlock characters in each game from other titles in the promotion, and customers that buy one or more titles will receive early purchasing options for the remaining games. For instance, ilo from ilomilo and Doug from A World of Keflings will be available in Raskulls for those that purchase all three titles, and Raskulls characters will be similarly usable in the other two games for multi-game purchasers. In addition, players that purchase A World of Keflings on December 22 will be able to purchase Raskulls from an in-game menu one week before it's official December 29 release. Ilomilo officially hits the Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace on January 5, but customers who visit a "super secret" access page can already obtain a code for a demo version of the game and, through that, purchase the full version. The new Games for the Holidays promotion follows the company's Summer of Arcade efforts which have pushed highly anticipated downloadable games in both 2009 and 2010, as well as Spring 2010 Block Party and Fall 2010 Game Feast promotions. All three Games for the Holidays titles will sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
