Minecraft RTX Ray Tracing Beta releases on April 16th, will also support DLSS 2.0

NVIDIA has announced that the beta phase for Minecraft RTX will begin on April 16th. PC gamers will be able to download a beta patch that adds real-time ray tracing effects to Minecraft, and share their RTX creations.

Minecraft with RTX will bring fully path-traced rendering and physically-based materials. Not only that, but this patch will add support for NVIDIA DLSS 2.0. DLSS 2.0 is a new version of NVIDIA’s re-construction tech, offering visuals as close to native resolutions as possible.

Furthermore, this beta will launch with 6 RTX Creator Worlds, downloadable for free from the in-game Minecraft Marketplace. The worlds will demonstrate the full capabilities of Minecraft with RTX’s new technology.

In order to celebrate this announcement, the green team released a new trailer that you can find below.
