Newsbrief: Character animation company Mixamo revealed today that its online 3D animation service now includes full integration with the Flare3D engine for Adobe Flash. This new integration will allow developers to import animations directly from the Mixamo service into the Flare3D engine for browser-based games. The engine itself uses Adobe Flash 11 to create 3D visuals within the browser by leveraging the capabilities of modern GPUs. "The combination of Adobe Flash Player 11, Flare3D studio, and Mixamo 3D content, full 3D games can now be run efficiently on the browser and can be designed directly in 3D with the help of Flare3D studio's user interface," said Mixamo CEO Stefano Corazza.
