We have some great news for Google Stadia players, as FDG Entertainment has just announced that the critically acclaimed Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will be releasing on the new video game service quite soon.
For those who may not be familiar with Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, it is a spiritual successor — and a even proper sequel, to be quite honest — to Sega's beloved Wonder Boy series of classic action adventure titles from the late 1980s.
Publisher FDG Entertainment has thanked the Google Stadia team for their support on making the port of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom a reality; revealing that it is "amazing to play this without installation," and that these are some exciting times.
We still don't have an official release date for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom to launch on Google Stadia, but the announcement trailer reveals that it is coming soon, so it is any body's guess until we get some new information from the developers.
