MONSTER HUNTER Game For The Nintendo Switch In Development, According To Capcom Insider

We may have some exciting news for some of you out there, as new information seems to reveal that Capcom is currently working on a brand-new Monster Hunter game, and that said title would be in development for the Nintendo Switch, although it is best to take this news with a pinch of salt.

With all that said, this information comes from reputable Capcom insider AestheticGamer1 — whom you may have heard of before, as it is the same user that has actively, and accurately leaked information about the Resident Evil series in the past, so we know that the user's sources are trustworthy.

According to @AestheticGamer1, a Monster Hunter game is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch, and Capcom has been using a Nintendo Switch-compatible version of their RE Engine — which is the same engine that Capcom has used to develop titles like Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, and more recently the Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remake.

What's even more exciting is that Dusk Golem also claims that the official reveal of this alleged Monster Hunter title for the Nintendo Switch will be revealed soon, although he doesn't give any further details on the subject.

How soon, though? We'll just have to patiently wait for more information; be it official or leaked.
