Newsbrief: ShiftyLook is one of the cooler ideas that's come out of a publisher in the last couple of years -- it's a community-oriented site that blends different media to revitalize dormant franchises. ShiftyLook did this through comics, games, and even anime. Some of these had never been seen in the West before (like Wonder Momo) and some had simply lain fallow for a few years (Klonoa.) Today, in a news post, the company announced that ShiftyLook is coming to an end. Many of its games will be shut down or discontinued and its webcomics will cease being updated. Most notably, online game Namco High -- creative-directed by Andrew Hussie, author of the popular web comic Homestuck -- will be shutting down in June. A Wonder Momo game currently in development by WayForward Technologies will, however, still be released this spring on PC and Mac. To find out more, you can read the blog post.
