NVIDIA has revealed that Neverness to Everness, the new supernatural urban open-world RPG powered by Unreal Engine 5, will have Full Ray Tracing/Path Tracing on PC. The green team has also shared a trailer dedicated to the game’s path-traced version that you can find below.
According to the devs, Path Tracing will enhance the game’s lighting, reflections, and shadows. In the following trailer, we get to see some comparison scenes. Moreover, the game will support DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Gen.
Neverness to Everness takes place in the busy city of Hethereau, which players can explore during both the day and night. The game has a dynamic weather system that makes the city feel alive and always changing. Weather isn’t just for looks either. It will affect how you play. For example, rain can change how your car handles, making driving more challenging and adding a deeper connection to the city around you.
Each character in the game has a special Esper ability that changes how you can explore the huge city of Hethereau. These powers make exploring more exciting and fun. For example, Nanally has an Anti-Gravity ability that lets her float and fly over buildings, making it easy to reach places that would normally be blocked off. With powers like this, players can find hidden paths, move around the city in new ways, and turn Hethereau into a giant playground full of secrets to discover.
Besides the main story and RPG gameplay, players will also have lots of extra things to do. You can collect, customize, and race sports cars, buy and design your own stylish city apartment, or even start and run a business. No matter what you decide to do in Hethereau, the game promises to feel exciting, immersive, and full of endless activities to enjoy.
