New Ori and the Will of the Wisps Patch adds HDR on PC, Dynamic Resolution Scaling & FPS Limit

Moon Studios has released a new major update for Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The May 14th update adds HDR support on the PC. Moreover, it brings a new Dynamic Resolution Scaling setting. This setting enables the game to automatically lower its rendering resolution to achieve higher framerate when necessary.

Not only that, but there is now an FPS limit option. This option may be ideal for those that prefer locked frame-rate experience with less frame-rate fluctuation at high refresh-rate. Additionally, you can now find Audio Output Device Selection and Microsoft Spatial Audio options.

Alongside the new features, this patch also fixes a number of bugs. For instance, it fixes the ‘missing Kwolok’ issue. It also fixes issues in Silent Woods connected to Ori’s moveset getting limited.

Moon Studios has also included some performance improvements in this patch. Also, the May 14th update packs improvements to reduce pixel aliasing and improve image quality in a variety of scenes.

Lastly, this latest update features improvements to the Warp Mechanic. It also fixes a number of asset pops and loading issues. Furthermore, it fixes issues related to Backup Saves, as well as button prompt issues.
