These past few years, and prior to each and every E3 event, we’ve been hearing about the resurrection of the Splinter Cell franchise. And from the looks it, 2019 will be the year in which a brand new Splinter Cell game will be officially revealed according to Ubisoft itself.
Ubisoft’s creative director, Julian Gerighty, has tweeted that he’s working on a brand new Splinter Cell game, and that it will be unveiled at E3 2019.

This most likely means that the new Splinter Cell game will be revealed at Ubisoft’s E3 2019 conference. Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot has been constantly saying that Splinter Cell is an important IP for the French company, so here is hoping that this upcoming Splinter Cell game will not be a GaaS (Game as a Service) product and more like a traditional single-player experience.
Other than that, we don’t have any additional information about this Splinter Cell game. We don’t know whether Michael Ironside will return to reprise his role as Sam Fisher, whether it will be a cross-gen release, and whether it’s coming next year or not.
