Developer Playful surprised players by announcing that the Nintendo Switch would be getting a new version of their 3D platformer Super Lucky's Tale in the form of New Super Lucky's Tale; a game that was originally a Microsoft-exclusive title, which is why the announcement was such a surprise.
New Super Lucky's Tale was released for the Nintendo Switch in November of 2019, but the people over at Playful still had a few surprises in store, since in May of this year they announced that this new title would also be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC(Epic, Steam).
Considering that the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC are all of platforms that are more powerful than the Nintendo Switch, New Super Lucky's Tale does look like a more graphically polished title than its handheld hybrid counterpart, but all of the charm and gameplay mechanics have remained intact.
Today we have some great news for those who don't own a Nintendo Switch and have been wanting to give this game a go, since New Super Lucky's Tale has just become available today, and the developers have shared a charming new trailer in order to give players a pretty good idea of what to expect from this 3D platformer.
