The first of two downloadable content packs (DLC) for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, The Teal Mask, will introduce players to the Japanese-inspired Kitakami region and its numerous new Pokémon! Also introduced in the DLC are the grass/ghost type Poltchageist, which was revealed today on the Pokémon YouTube account.

We are introduced to Poltchageist, which appears to be a Convergent variant of the well-known Polteageist and which debuted last generation, but how it converges hasn't been confirmed as of writing, in a lovely film that recounts the horrific tale of how the Pokémon came to be.
The Teal Mask, where you can meet Poltchageist, and the first DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are scheduled for release on September 13 and roughly sometime later this winter!
