At GDC 2023, Epic Games showcased a next-gen tech demo for Unreal Engine 5.2. And today, we are happy to report that this demo (or to be more precise, its environment) is available for download as a Sample Project.
Going into more details, the Electric Dreams Environment Sample Project enables you to explore the demo’s jungle environment, which was constructed using just a handful of Quixel assets. The demo features Procedural Content Generation framework (PCG), as well as a new material authoring system called Substrate.
The demo includes seven levels to better explore and understand the PCG tools. Furthermore, this sample project includes other UE5 features, including Lumen, Nanite, and Soundscape.
