Nextpeer, a mobile game platform that allows iOS developers to easily integrate multiplayer modes and options into their titles, is launching for Android games and devices. The free Nextpeer SDK, as demonstrated to Gamasutra at GDC Europe, provides developers with the means to more easily set up online multiplayer, tournament modes, simulated players, and onlines leaderboards in their games. This ease of use has led to more than 2000 iOS games being integrated with the Nextpeer platform, with 10 million monthly active users across the network -- and now Android developers can get in on the act, with over 100 titles already preparing to go live with the Android version of the SDK. The SDK comes with a Unity plug-in, analytics and developer dashboards, and the possibility to integrate additional monetization options if so required. More information regarding the Nextpeer platform can be found on the official website.
