NICKELODEON ALL-STAR BRAWL Adds CatDog And April O'Neil To Its Roster

Over the summer, GameMill Entertainment and Nickelodeon announced Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, a platform fighting game similar to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. featuring fan-favorite Nickelodeon characters. At the time of the reveal, there was already a pretty beefy lineup of playable Nicktoons lined up, including characters from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ren & Stimpy, SpongeBob SquarePants, and other beloved shows.

During Gamescom, GameMill revealed two more characters ready to join the fray: CatDog and April O'Neil. CatDog, of course, is the titular character in the show CatDog, which aired on Nickelodeon from 1998 to 2005. As the name alludes, CatDog is a conjoined twin of a cat and dog who share the same body with no tail or hind legs — but that won't stop them from laying waste to their opponents in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

April O'Neil is the star reporter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She will don her signature yellow jumpsuit and utilize her various reporter tools to take down her foes.

This is actually the second game April O'Neil has been revealed for. The beloved reporter was also recently confirmed as a playable character in the upcoming side-scrolling beat 'em up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge — so she's having quite a moment now.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is set to release this Fall 2021 for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
