Graphics tech firm Nvidia has rolled out its GameWorks VR software development kits to registered developers this week after a period of alpha testing by studios like Valve, Oculus VR and Epic Games.

If you were curious about the company's GameWorks VR initiatives, especially in light of the fact that they got a former Sucker Punch graphics programmer to start writing detailed technical breakdowns of the tech this summer, now is your opportunity to check things out for yourself.

To do so, head over to Nvidia's developer hub and register as a GameWorks developer. That grants you access to download the GameWorks VR SDK, which affords you APIs and libraries for Nvidia features like VR SLI rendering and GPU scheduling via context priority.

The company is also developing an SDK for VR headset developers, though that's still in testing and requires you to apply for beta access.
