Longtime writer and editor Jason Brookes has passed away.
Brookes was an instrumental part of the Super Nintendo-focused magazine Super Play's early days, and landed his words and thoughts on a number of print publications throughout his career, including the magazine Edge where he was an editor for a number of years.
Those sharing condolences on social media in the wake of his passing remember him as an inspirational force for others throughout the industry through both his writings and actions.
