Octopath Traveler has seen quite a bit of success since its original launch back in 2018. The game was originally released as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, but was later ported to PC, and even got a prequel in the form of a mobile game that was released in Japan.
Today Nintendo has revealed that Square Enix's Octopath Traveler has already managed to sell a very impressive 2 million copies since the game's original launch back in July of 2018; obviously, only including units sold for the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
The good news don't end there, as Nintendo has also announced that Octopath Traveler is currently at a 50% off on the Nintendo Switch eShop, and this offer will stand until the 2nd of April, so players who still haven't had the chance to purchase this fantastic game will have a good two weeks to do so.
