Supergiant Games senior programmer Chris Jurney has left the Bastion and Transistor studio to work at Oculus VR, he revealed in a Tweet. Jurney previously worked at Double Fine, Kaos Studios, and Relic Entertainment. "I'll be on a small team doing prototypes, which is my favorite type of work. I'm really looking forward to getting my hands dirty in virtual space," Jurney told Polygon. He's the latest in a string of hires that have followed the company's acquisition by Facebook in March. On the game development side, just last week Naughty Dog co-founder Jason Rubin joined the company as its head of worldwide studios, joining Halo franchise art director Kenneth Scott. The company also picked up Valve VR R&D alums Atman Binstock, Aaron Nicholls, and Michael Abrash, Google Glass lead engineer Adrian Wong, as well as building a publishing team with former Valve and EA talent.
