Ouya offers guidelines to help devs start preparing games

Newsbrief: Ouya has posted guidelines to help developers get started working on their games for its upcoming platform, detailing features they can take advantage of. The company has offered information on how input devices, in-app payments, system resources, and other elements will work with its open-source gaming console. It's also announced that Ouya will be based on the Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system, instead of Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) as previously announced. Along with those details, Ouya has shared an update on its progress finalizing the console's hardware, and has indicated that it's on track to launch the system next March as planned. It intends to release the alpha version of the Ouya Software Development Kit this December, too.
