PANZER DRAGOON: REMAKE For The Nintendo Switch Gets New Trailer, As The Game Becomes Available Today

During last year's E3, Sega surprised players by revealing that Panzer Dragoon was getting a remake exclusive for the Nintendo Switch, although they didn't reveal exactly when the game was releasing. Regardless, the game was looking better than ever, and fans of the original were definitely excited.

The original Panzer Dragoon is a rail shooter game that was initially released in 1995 for the Sega Saturn; eventually releasing for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Windows. The Nintendo Switch version is the first time a game in the Panzer Dragoon series has been released since 2002, actually.

Panzer Dragoon for the Nintendo Switch is keeping every single one of the gameplay mechanics from the original, but it's getting a graphics makeover, polished new cutscenes, improved frame rate, and the same charm it made the original a classic.

Today players got yet another surprise during the Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, as the Panzer Dragoon remake got yet another gameplay trailer, and an official release date. As it turns out, the game was released today right after the presentation was over, and now players can easily purchase it from the Nintendo Switch eShop.
