Newsbrief: It's looking like Starbreeze Studios' purchase of fellow Swedish company Overkill Software is paying off, as the latter's latest release Payday 2 has sold more than 1.58 million units. That figure is across PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC, at both retail and digital, the company said in an announcement. Notably, 80 percent of those sales were digital. Starbreeze already confirmed before the game's launch last month that it was a profitable title simply on pre-orders alone.
