Castle Crashers developer The Behemoth has announced that its proceeds from an impending Pink Knight DLC pack will go towards charities devoted to breast cancer research. Citing popular demand for "the single most requested character," the pink knight will come with a lollipop and four other weapons that the developers cautioned users of with a "Warning: Adorable." The DLC will hit PSN on February 8 for $1.99, while a planned pink knight update for Xbox Live does not yet have a set date or price. Earlier this month, The Behemoth announced its hand-drawn downloadable brawler had reached the 2 million player milestone on Xbox Live two-and-a-half years after its summer 2008 release. In 2008, EA donated proceeds from a Target-exclusive, limited "Pink" edition of Madden NFL 09 to the Deanna Favre HOPE Foundation, which provides support to breast cancer patients and survivors.
