LittleBigPlanet Vita studio Double Eleven turned its attention to publishing earlier this year, hinting that it might be moving away from PlayStation platforms. Now the company has ended its exclusivity deal with Sony, and signed up PixelJunk studio Q Games. Sony originally signed Double Eleven up back in 2011, and the studio has since released LittleBigPlanet, and ported Limbo to PS Vita. The company is also working on a PlayStation version of Frozen Synapse. With the Sony deal now ended, Double Eleven told GI.biz that it is kicking off its main publishing push by signing up Q Games to collaborate on multiple new games. The Japan-based Q Games is most recently known for its PixelJunk series, including PixelJunk SideScroller, PixelJunk 4am and PixelJunk Monsters. Double Eleven says to expect games published by the team on mobile and PC in the near future, as it begins to expand its horizons outside of PSN.
