Earlier this week, Sony finally gave us our first glimpse at the PlayStation 5(kind of) — while they didn't quite reveal the console itself, they did unveil the highly anticipated console's brand-new controller; to the surprise of many, it isn't a DualShock 5 like players thought it would be, as the developer has decided to rename it to DualSense.
The DualSense seems to be quite the evolutionary step for the classic controller, as it not only looks stylish, but it is also said to bring with it some features that will likely be setting a new standard for video game controllers in general; players seem to agree on this, too.
It isn't just players who were left impressed with the PlayStation 5's new controller, as some big names within the video game industry have also shared their thoughts on the DualSense five, such as Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines — who has nothing but good things to say about it.
On his personal Twitter account, Bethesda's Pete Hines has revealed that he's had the chance to actually test the DualSense out, and he was very impressed with the controller's adaptive triggers and haptic feedback; revealing that he believes games will do "some really cool things with them."
"You sort of immediately forget about a PS4 controller. I went back and forth between them and you immediately just want to use the PS5," was Hines' reply when asked to compare the DualSense to the DualShock 4.
Sony's PlayStation 5 is expected to launch at some point during the Holidays. With this year's E3 event cancelled on account of the Coronavirus, we don't know exactly when will players be able to finally hold the DualSense in their hands and see for themselves just how great these new features allegedly are.

Hopefully Sony will be unveiling the PlayStation 5 sooner than later, but chances are that they will still be giving us our very first look at the console during a live stream at some point in June. We'll have to wait and see.
