Newsbrief: PlayStation's self-proclaimed "indie game champion" Nick Suttner has left the company after seven years.

During his time at the console maker, Suttner worked as a senior product evaluator and lead account manager, and helped unearth many promising indie titles early on in the development process.

Breaking news of his departure on Twitter, Suttner didn't mention where he'd be heading next, instead telling his followers he's "off to new adventures."

"This feels super weird to say after seven years, but yesterday was my last day at PlayStation. It's been amazing, but I'm off to new adventures," tweeted Suttner.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all of the amazing developers I've worked with, and PlayStation fans who've enjoyed the results."
