PS Move app Move.me made available to European academics

Newsbrief: Sony has launched its PlayStation Move programming application Move.me in Europe, having previously made the software available to academics and researchers in the U.S. Move.me takes advantage of the PS Move's internal motion sensors and PS Eye camera tracking, allowing developers to export that data to Windows or Linux-based PCs (tablets and smartphones can also receive the data when connected to a PS3) and create applications based on that information. The software has already been used by a variety of universities and academics in the U.S. in areas such as physical therapy and rehabilitation. It is currently available to European academics, researchers, and students who apply via the official website.
