Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD and Dyad to digital download platforms in North America, while Japan gets Kirby's Dream Collection and Rune Factory 4. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending July 21st, 2012. Games Released in the United States: Several high-profile downloadable titles are set to launch during a slow retail release week in North America, including Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD, an Xbox Live Arcade compilation featuring fan-favorite elements from Activision's extreme sports franchise. The PlayStation 3 is set to host the futuristic racer Dyad and downloadable versions of Capcom's formerly Wii-exclusive Resident Evil Chronicles games, meanwhile, as SmileBoom's BASIC programming toolset Petit Computer premieres for the Nintendo DSi and 3DS. Nintendo 3DS owners can also expect to see Square Enix's Heroes of Ruin, an action-RPG that uses the platform's StreetPass and SpotPass functionality for item trading and expanded content. Also hitting the 3DS this week is Reef Entertainment's retro puzzler Boulder Dash-XL 3D, which will launch stateside in September. Nintendo 3DS: - Boulder Dash-XL 3D - Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance PC: - International Cricket Captain 2012 - Rift: Ultimate Edition Games Released in Japan: The series-spanning Hoshi no Kirby: 20-Shuunen Special Collection premieres in Japan this week, offering a compilation of six classic games starring Nintendo's mascot character Kirby. The game will arrive in North America in September, as Kirby's Dream Collection. Also shipping in Japan this week are Konami's multiplatform baseball franchise update Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2012, Namco Bandai's PSP RPG Digimon World Re:Digitize, and Neverland's Harvest Moon subseries sequel Rune Factory 4.
