Release This: Twisted Metal, Uncharted: Golden Abyss premiere in North America

Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list. This week brings the PlayStation Vita's launch lineup to North America, while Japan gets New Love Plus and Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending February 18th, 2012. Games Released in the United States: Sony's PlayStation Vita handheld console launches in North America this week as a limited "first edition bundle," which includes a memory card, system case, and the software title Little Deviants. Standalone 3G and Wi-Fi editions of the PS Vita are set to premiere in the U.S. and Europe next week. The platform's launch lineup features standout titles like Sony's futuristic racer WipEout 2048, the Uncharted series spinoff Uncharted: Golden Abyss, golfing sim Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational, and Q Entertainment's synaesthetic puzzler Lumines: Electronic Symphony.
