Republique developer Camouflaj opens new studio in Japan

Republique developer Camouflaj has opened a new studio in Kamakura, Japan.

The Seattle-based developer, which has also worked on Iron Man VR and Republique VR, is expanding to continue creating "meaningful games."

The new studio will be helmed by Camouflaj founder Ryan Payton and former Capcom producer Matt Walker.

Writer and localization expert Alexander O. Smith has also joined the team, having previously worked on titles like Final Fantasy X and Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
