Newsbrief: Back in March, Rock Band creator Harmonix turned to crowdfunding platform Fig to raise $1.5 million to bring Rock Band 4 to PC.

The Steam version of the plastic powered rhythm game was set to be developed by British studio Sumo Digital, and would’ve been the first entry in the series to hit PC.

After just over a month, however, the campaign has fallen well short, raising just 52 percent, that’s $712,817, of its target goal from 1,674 backers.

Had the campaign succeeded Rock Band 4 would’ve made its PC debut later this year.
