Rockstar Games used to release a major, new title once every year. It seems that production has slowed down as of late with the publisher now preferring to remaster and bring their catalogue of games to other platforms.
The most major game that Rockstar Games released as of late would be Red Dead Redemption 2 — first released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2018 and ported over to the PC precisely a year later. Thankfully, it now seems that Rockstar Games are preparing to announce another major game.
Rockstar Games recently published a new job listing — which you can check out here — in which they are after a video editor. Within the listing, the publisher states that the applicant “must be able to communicate the emotional content and excitement of a game within a 60 second format.” It seems pretty clear that they're after somebody to put together a trailer for them.
"The ideal candidate will have experience with both drama and documentary and able to craft a compelling narrative," the listing goes on. On account of this, many fans are convinced that Rockstar Games is finally ready to reveal the long-awaited sixth mainline instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series or a sequel to 2006's Bully.
