Rocksteady’s new game won’t be revealed at the Video Games Award 2018, is not a Superman game

A lot of rumours arose lately regarding Rocksteady’s upcoming unannounced game. The rumours suggested that it was a Superman game that it would be revealed at the Video Games Award 2018, however that’s not the case.

Sefton Hill, Game Director and co-founder at Rocksteady Games, has confirmed that their title will not be present at this year’s Video Games Award event. Not only that, but Sefton debunked all the rumours that suggested their title would be a Superman game.

Looking forward to #TheGameAwards this year! We’re still hard at work in our development bunker so don’t expect an announcement from @Rocksteadygames. When it’s ready to show, you’ll be the first to know. Spoiler: it’s not Superman

So, what exactly is Rocksteady working on? According to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, Rocksteady is currently developing a hero game that will be a Games as a Service (GaaS).

“I think what we’re going to see from them is a game about a group of superheroes, and it will be like a Games as a Service (GaaS) type thing.”

Rocksteady’s game is most likely a next-gen title so you should not expect it anytime soon!
