Angry Birds maker Rovio has named Andy Muesse as its new head of studios.

Muesse has been at the company since 2020 and initially joined as head of Rovio's 80-person Stockholm studio -- best known for developing Angry Birds 2.

In his new role, Muesse will oversee all of Rovio's studios across Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Canada.

Rovio CEO Alexandre Pelletier-Normand said Muesee's "deep understanding of product, knowledge of the market and strategic thinking will help our studios thrive as well as drive our business to a new level."

Prior to joining Rovio, Muesse served as head of mobile product at Wargaming and vice president of product at Gree.
