Back in March, we reported on the latest COD 2020 rumors surrounding it. Now according to TheGamingRevolution, this new Call of Duty game won’t be titled “Black Ops”. However, the game will still take place in Cold War/Vietnam, meaning that it will be related to Black Ops.
It’s also interesting to note that Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier also backs up these rumors. According to Schreier, Activision calls this new COD game internally Call of Duty: Vietnam. Do note that this is a placeholder title.
I’m not a COD person so I don’t know anything about all the lore shenanigans or what it really means to be a Black Ops game, but one title I’ve heard thrown around a couple times is just “COD: Vietnam.” As far as I know it’s part of the Black ops series though? Not sure

In other news, TheGamingRevolution claimed that Modern Warfare 3 Remastered is also in development. Similarly to Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, Modern Warfare 3 Remastered will come out first on PS4. Unfortunately, though, we don’t currently know when this remaster will come out.
As always, we suggest everything you’ve read with a grain of salt. Truth be told, TheGamingRevolution is a trusted source. After all, TheGamingRevolution had previously leaked Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as Modern Warfare 2 Remastered.
Activision will most likely officially reveal this new COD game in the next couple of months. Naturally, we’ll be sure to keep you posted so stay tuned for more!
