Last week, we reported that Saints Row: The Third Remastered had been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board(ESRB), and that the game would be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at a yet-to-be-determined date.
When games get rated by rating boards, they usually release within a few months, so this was great news for fans of the Saints Row series. There was, however, one problem: the developers still hadn't officially announced the game, so the release date was anybody's guess.
Today, publisher Deep Silver has officially announced Saints Row: The Third Remastered, with an over the top, and action-packed trailer that gives us a look at the gorgeous new, and enhanced graphics this remaster will be featuring. This remastered version is including all three mission packs, as well as all of the original game's DLC.
The good news don't stop there, as Deep Silver has also revealed that Saints Row: The Third Remastered will be releasing for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 22nd of May, and that pre-orders are currently open via the official Saints Row website.
According to the official Saints Row website, Saints Row: The Third Remastered will be getting a physical release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the United Kingdom, and will release for PC via the Epic Games Store. No news on whether a physical release will be released in North America as of yet.
