Gamasutra's weekly column, "Saling The World", covers the top five sellers for every available platform in the United States, Japan, and Europe, providing an important update of sales patterns worldwide. This week's charts, with data taken from November 4th, 2010, find Microsoft's hardware-bundled Kinect Adventures leading software sales in North America, with Kinect Sports and Dance Central also emerging as big sellers in the peripheral's debut week. Data for "Saling The World" comes courtesy of the public sales information on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and Amazon.co.jp, with sales split out for each platform and territory, and pre-orders disregarded. This results in a true sense of what games are selling worldwide on the real-time updated service, as follows: Multiplatform North America: 1. Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures (Microsoft, X360), 2. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft, Wii), 3. Kinect Sports (Microsoft, X360), 4. Dance Central (MTV Games, X360), 5. Wii Party (Nintendo, Wii). Japan: 1. Radiant Historia - Limited Edition (Atlus, DS), 2. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda, X360), 3. World Soccer Winning Eleven 2011 (Konami, PS3), 4. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda, PS3), 5. Super Mario Collection Special Pack (Nintendo, Wii). UK: 1. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft, Wii), 2. Football Manager 2011 (Sega, PC), 3. Professor Layton and the Lost Future (Nintendo, DS), 4. Just Dance, Ubisoft, Wii), 5. FIFA 11 (EA Sports, PS3). Microsoft's motion-sensing peripheral Kinect has proven to be very popular among Amazon's customer base in its debut week, and the Kinect Adventures-bundled hardware package has since sold out of its initial shipment in the United States. Atlus's Radiant Historia and Fallout: New Vegas top multiplatform sales in Japan, while Sega's Football Manager 2011 barely loses out to reigning chart champ Just Dance 2 in its premiere week in the UK. Nintendo Wii North America: 1. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft), 2. Wii Party (Nintendo), 3. Kirby's Epic Yarn (Nintendo), 4. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Nintendo), 5. Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board (Nintendo). Japan: 1. Super Mario Collection Special Pack (Nintendo), 2. Wii Party (Nintendo), 3. Keito no Kirby (Nintendo), 4. Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board (Nintendo), 5. GoldenEye 007 (Activision). Kirby's Epic Yarn recovers after dropping to fifth place last week, finishing ahead of New Super Mario Bros. Wii in today's domestic Wii chart results. Super Mario Collection Special Pack and Wii Party continue to lead platform sales in Japan, meanwhile, as Just Dance and its recently released sequel remain on top in the UK. Xbox 360 North America: 1. Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures (Microsoft), 2. Kinect Sports (Microsoft), 3. Dance Central (MTV Games), 4. Your Shape: Fitness Evolved (Ubisoft), 5. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda). Japan: 1. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda), 2. Red Dead Redemption (Rockstar), 3. Ore no Yome: Anata Dake no Hanayome (Idea Factory), 4. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda). Kinect Sports and Dance Central rank as the fastest-selling Kinect titles in the peripheral's first week of release in the United States, with Ubisoft's Your Shape: Fitness Evolved outselling Fallout: New Vegas at fourth place. New Vegas sees a successful debut week in Japan, as Crackdown 2 and Alan Wake return to the charts in the UK thanks to recent Amazon price drops. PlayStation 3 North America: 1. Final Fantasy XIII (Square Enix), 2. PlayStation Move Starter Bundle (SCEA), 3. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (LucasArts), 4. NBA 2K11 (2K Sports), 5. FIFA Soccer 11 (EA Sports). Japan: 1. The Sports Champions-bundled PlayStation Move package sees new popularity in the wake of Kinect's launch, as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II overtakes NBA 2K11 in this week's results. Konami's World Soccer Winning Eleven 2011 narrowly beats out newcomer Fallout: New Vegas for the lead in Japan, while FIFA 11's chart dominance remains uncontested in Europe. PC North America: 1. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty (Blizzard), 2. Sid Meier's Civilization V (2K Games), 3. The Sims 3: Late Night (EA Games), 4. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda), 5. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (Blizzard). Japan: 1. Sid Meier's Civilization V (2K Games), 2. Final Fantasy XIV (Square Enix), 3. The Sims 3: Late Night (EA Games), 3. The Sims 3 (EA Games), 4. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda), 5. Farming Simulator 2011 (Excalibur). StarCraft II returns to the top of the PC charts in North America this week after previously placing fourth, as Civilization V rises up to overtake The Sims 3: Late Night for second place. Sega's Football Manager 2010 outsells all competition in its premiere week in the UK, meanwhile, pushing The Sims 3 and its recently released Late Night expansion to second and third place. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman and Sony's God of War: Ghost of Sparta, which trails at second place in its debut week. Ghost of Sparta also finishes at second place in the UK, where FIFA 11 continues to head platform sales.
