SCE Asia opens Chinese localization office in Taiwan

Newsbrief: Sony Computer Entertainment Asia has opened a new Chinese localization center in Taipei, Taiwan, which will be headed by its business branch in that country. SCE Asia previously handled Chinese localization at its Tokyo office, releasing translated versions of more than 100 titles, including the Gran Turismo and Uncharted franchises, for PlayStation consoles. The new Taipei center is already handling two PS Vita titles, GungHo Online's Ragnarok Odyssey and Atlus' Persona 4: The Golden. SCE Asia says it is seeking more first-party and third-party titles to localize. SCE Asia wants to further increase the number of Chinese localized games it puts out, and intends to open a debug center in the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung to support that goal.
