Newsbrief: Research firm Newzoo has created an interactive chart which tracks the top 100 countries in the world for video game revenue -- with China at the top. Newzoo earlier said that the country would eke out a victory over the the U.S. for the first time this year, and this new data is in line with that prediction.

At $22.2 billion, it's at the head of the pack, followed by the U.S. at $21.9 billion, and Japan in the third slot, at $12.3 billion. There's a steep falloff at that point: South Korea comes in fourth at $4.0 billion.

We've replicated the top 10 below, but there's an interactive version of the chart, which covers the top 100 countries, over at Newzoo's site.
