Sega, Halfbrick veteran Tony Takoushi founds new indie studio

Newsbrief: Tony Takoushi, a games industry veteran with over 30 years of experience under his belt, has founded a new mobile and PC gaming studio in Australia. Takoushi was originally a journalist for magazine Mean Machines, before taking on development and publishing roles at Sega, Codemasters and, most recently, Jetpack Joyride developer Halfbrick. He has now founded Total ArKade Software, based in Queensland, Australia, and is close to revealing the team's first release for smartphones, tablets and Windows PC.
