Launching for the PlayStation 4 and PC back in 2017 (and later coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch), Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice earned much acclaim and now a sequel is on the horizon.

Developed by Ninja Theory, the game is set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Norse mythology and Celtic culture.

It's action-adventure and blends a variety of genres including hack-and-slash, puzzle solving, and psychological horror.

Annoucned during The Game Awards 2019, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is a follow-up. The Game Awards 2021 took place last night and platformed the official gameplay reveal trailer for the sequel. The Icelandic score paired with creepier-than-ever visuals make it clear that Hellblade is back and probably better than ever.
