Newsbrief: Former Capcom community director and fighting gamesman Seth Killian announced today that he left his position as lead game designer at Sony Santa Monica late last year to pursue other opportunities. Killian joined up with Sony shortly after leaving Capcom in 2012, where he spent six years serving as the company's Western-facing community front man. At Sony he worked alongside SuperBot Studios on the first-party mascot fighting game PlayStation All-stars Battle Royale, as well as other projects that have yet to be announced. Killian has not publicly disclosed his reasons for leaving or his plans for the future, though he took to Twitter earlier this morning to suggest the split was amicable and hint that he may be starting up his own independent project.
