Newsbrief: Social games company Slingo has been acquired by internet services company RealNetworks, as the latter looks to forge a path into the world of social casino games. RealNetworks paid $15.6 million for Slingo. That money buys it everything Slingo-related, from the Facebook version of the casual Slingo game, which currently sees around 4.5 million monthly players, to the mobile versions that have been downloaded millions of times.
