Newsbrief: German social game company Wooga has opened its first overseas office, as it looks to strengthen its local partnerships in Japan. The new Tokyo-based offices will aim to secure new business opportunities in the country. Wooga believes that there are plenty of Japanese developers to make deals with. Jun Otsuka, a 12 year veteran of the games industry who most recently served as one of the game producers at Japanese behemoth LINE, has been appointed to lead operations at this new Wooga outfit. Back in March, Wooga opened a new studio at its Berlin headquarters, with the goal to make games "that 'were not possible before' touch devices."
