SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 First Trailer Confirmed For The Game Awards Tomorrow; Check Out The New Poster

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is set to debut in theatres on April 8th, 2022.

We haven't got a trailer for the video game movie sequel just yet but we will have soon as the official Sonic the Hedgehog movie Twitter account has confirmed that the first official trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be dropping during The Game Awards.

This was recently teased by, The Game Awards host, Geoff Keighley over on Twitter — more on that here. The Game Awards event will be taking place at 8PM (eastern time) tomorrow.

We will have an article up featuring the trailer as soon as it drops.

This poster gives us our first look at Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik in the sequel as well as one of our first looks at the cinematic take on Miles Prowler A.K.A. Tails. Here we can see that his iconic, red biplane has made the jump to the silver screen too! Sonic is pulling an awesome pose atop the plane while Eggman characteristically tails the heroic pair in a very faithful egg ship.
